The Green Providers Directory: -- A not-for-profit, green directory founded on ethical principles. All the companies listed have been individually vetted to be sure of their eco-friendly credentials. Alternative Wedding Gift Registries
The Alternative Wedding List is the UK’s on-line charitable wedding list service with choice. Instead of toasters and kettles you can sign up for a gift list that contains gifts of donations to various charities. Couples select a group of charities; your guests simply log on and select a donation to the charity of their choice. The Alternative Wedding List guys will even help you create a personal wedding website that you can use for up to 2 years; payment for your site will also go to charity.

Fiberactive Organics -- Offers, among other things, certified organic cotton thread that actually works in our sewing machines. We haven't found such thread anywhere else and we are proud to support an independent ethical business that fills such an important need.
