Our Inclusion Policy
At Conscious Elegance we strongly believe that everyone should have the right to marry, regardless of self-identity, gender expression or sexual preference. It’s so rare and beautiful when people find each other. We choose to support love in its many forms among consenting adults. We wish to provide everyone an equal chance to celebrate and publicly recognize their commitment to each other and create a haven for all of our clients and their families, both biological and logical.
We welcome clients of all genders, identities and expressions. We are committed to creating Safe Space and will ensure that existing or potential clients are not discriminated against directly or indirectly or victimized in any way because of their body shape, gender-expression, sexual orientation, ethnic or national origin, citizenship, ability, age, or religion. This policy also covers the conduct of employees and support staff towards one another.
Note: We at Conscious Elegance are very proud of the fact that here we use non-professional models in a range of sizes and we do not alter their natural shape in the photos. We strongly feel that our creations should be worn by people of all types and appreciate the help of models of all shapes, sizes, orientations, abilities and skin tones. Conscious Elegance will ensure that every reasonable accommodation will be made to facilitate the participation of persons with disabilities in all such activities consistent with applicable laws, orders and policies. Regarding our employees, we at Conscious Elegance will:

Our Ethical Pledge
The silk we use in our designs is either new hempsilk or reclaimed silk fabrics, repurposed from unwanted dresses which would have eventually ended up in a landfill. We believe that by giving pre-loved dresses a new life and extending their usefulness, we not only honor the initial sacrifice of the silkworms but we honor the laborers who wove the original fabric. We do this by reclaiming and re-using a resource that would otherwise be wasted.
